The Detroit Red Wings are in a free-fall. In their last 16 games, they hold a record of 3-12-1. Chicago are at the bottom of the Central Division, but hold an above .500 record with a 7-7-2 streak in their last 16.
Chicago traded their goalkeeper, Robin Lehner, to Vegas at the deadline. Leaving Corey Crawford and Malcolm Subban to tend the net for the remainder of the season. Crawford played last night, so Subban should be expected tonight. That’s the biggest concern for me tonight, backing the Blackhawks in Detroit.
On the other end of the ice, starter Jonathan Bernier is expected in net. He’s allowing 3.10 GAA this season. The question for the Red Wings is who will score goals. The team only has 134 goals and their form as of late is not good. I don’t like laying high prices, but there are props in town that suggest the Red Wings may not win another game this season. I’ll lay the juice and bite my nails on this one.
