Last night the Denver Broncos beat the Atlanta Falcons 14-10 in the Hall of Fame Game on a crazy last-minute drive. There were botched calls, a bit of luck, and ultimately a backdoor win and cover. Many sports bettors had backed the Broncos, myself included, based on the fact that Dan Quinn does not care about the preseason (5-12 record).
Next week the NFL Preseason gets underway with every team starting their 2019-20 campaign. Some coaches love to use the preseason to set a winning culture for the season, while others hate it and just use it to try new tactics and personnel. Use these NFL Preseason records in the lead up to next week’s games as a guide to understanding if the teams you are betting are in it to win.

Worst 2019 NFL Preseason Coach Records
These coaches do not care or do not have the talent to win in the preseason. Mike Vrabel and Matt Patricia were rookie coaches on terrible teams last season, it’s unclear whether they weren’t trying or if they just didn’t have the talent. Dan Quinn and Jason Garrett are preseason betting staples with their apathetic approach to the preseason.
